About this service
Our youth programmes provide youth in grades 7 to 12 (youth are divided into smaller age groups within that range) with activities that engage them and help them to learn what it means to be part of a community. Youth in our programmes are supported to make new friends, learn life skills and develop their leadership skills by providing input to create programmes tailored just for them. We also have a lot of fun together! Through this programming, youth develop skills in problem solving, leadership, critical thinking, effective communications, decision making, resiliency, fair play, teamwork, self-esteem, self-reliance, creative thinking, interpersonal skills, goal setting, empathy and coping with stress.
