There are many forms of dementia including Alzheimers disease, frontotemporal dementia, Lewy body disease, and Picks disease. Getting an early diagnosis from your doctor can help individuals and families be more productive and gain more control over their lives. Its natural to fear an unwelcome diagnosis, however many people experience a sense of relief once they understand the reason for their symptoms and can begin treatment. What can my loved ones expect from Dementia Care? Caring for people with dementia requires compassion and an understanding of what matters most to individuals so they feel heard, valued, engaged and respected. We recognize the unique needs of people living with dementia and family caregivers and have individualized care approaches to best meet those needs.
