About this service
The Diabetes Education Program at Unison Health & Community Services offers free individual counseling and group education classes for people with Type 2 diabetes and pre-diabetes. It features a team of Diabetes Educators, including Registered Nurses and Registered Dietitians, to help clients manage or prevent diabetes. The program also provides free Teleophthalmology services, which include eye exams and retinal screenings, in collaboration with South Riverdale Community Health Centre and other health partners.
