About this service
Young women whose journeys have included homelessness are far more likely to have already experienced abusive and exploitative relationships and trafficking.
The young women who come to our doors need compassionate, specialized care to recover from the trauma they have experienced whether at home or on the street.
The Lise Watier: This is Me! Girls Program offers tailored life skills workshops, discussion groups, female mentors and special outings. The activities provide our young women with life skills that enhance their self esteem such as:
- Knowledge on healthy relationships
- Meditation and self-care techniques
- Career building skills
- Finance and household management know-how
