About this service

Tests for chlamydia and gonorrhea are done at the time of an abortion at Choice in Health Clinic. If either infection is detected, we telephone the client to arrange for treatment. We take care not to give information about a client's health to anyone except our client. However, you should be aware that by law, the Department of Public Health will be informed by the testing lab of any positive results for STIs.
We can phone a prescription for medication to a pharmacy, or we can provide treatment in our clinic at no cost. Clients can come to our clinic after treatment for their test of cure as well.
