About this organization

COVID-19 UPDATE: West Toronto Community Legal Services and West Toronto Housing Help Services remain open, but have limited in-person meetings. Contact with existing clients and other community members will be by telephone and email, except for exceptional circumstances where an in-person appointment will be scheduled. Please do not drop-in for service.

We provide low income people living in our area of West Toronto with free legal services for certain problems, including landlord and tenant, employment, social assistance, and immigration, among others.

We can:

  • give you legal advice
  • help you fill out forms
  • represent you at some tribunals and courts
  • refer you to other agencies when we cant help

We also provide legal information sessions for members of the public and other community agencies. With our community partners, we also work to improve the laws that affect low income people in Ontario.
