About this organization
Our location has a focus on food and a community kitchen.
Part of our vision includes a model where everyone is a volunteer
i.e. either help with the food preparation, or help serve, shovel snow, or label envelopes, or any other activity common to a community centre. It could mean attending a lesson on diabetic cooking, helping cook, and eating the tasty results.
Another part of the vision is to allow other organizations to become trusted partners and use the space when not in use by the kitchen so that the space is very much like a community centre.
