About this organization

Black Youth Helpline serves all youth and specifically responds to the need for a Black youth specific service, positioned and resourced to promote access to professional, culturally appropriate support for youth, families and schools. Services are driven by the voices of participants who contact the Helpline. How can I help you? Are therefore not simply spoken words. We are passionate about making a difference.

What they offer

The BYH approach brings innovative, professional, culturally relevant perspectives to understanding and addressing the root causes of challenges faced by children, youth and families. Youth, families, schools and other mainstream organizations have a culturally appropriate resource they turn to for related support. Our professional assessment process ensures that problems are first and foremost understood before they are addressed. Next steps are then driven by assessment outcome and your interest and goals.

Black Youth Helpline is open Monday 9 am - 10 pm, Tuesday 9 am - 10 pm, Wednesday 9 am - 10 pm, Thursday 9 am - 10 pm, Friday 9 am - 10 pm, Saturday 9 am - 10 pm, Sunday 9 am - 10 pm.
