Handy Transit is a door to door transportation service for persons with permanent or short-term disabilities, which prevent them from being able to use Timmins Transit's regular, fixed-route transit service.
Passengers must be registered to use the service, and reservations are required.

Who May Use Handy Transit?
Persons, who because of their mobility impairment, are unable to use the regular transit service.The eligibility guidelines state that this transit service is intended for persons who are physically unable to climb or descend steps, or who are unable to walk a distance of 175 metres.
How to Apply for Handy Transit Service
If you wish to apply for Handy Transit service, you must obtain and complete an application form.The form is available from Timmins Transit at 54 Spruce Street South, or by calling 360-2600 ext 3504.
