About this service
Children, youth and their families who are experiencing mental health difficulties may benefit from the broad range of services offered through these services. Professionals assist families in identifying and addressing their child/youths behavior, social and/or emotional issues. Referrals are accepted from physicians, school personnel and other members of the community but the parent/legal guardian and/or the child/youth, 12 years of age or older, must consent to the referral within 10 days. For children under 12 years of age, the parent/legal guardian must consent to the referral within 10 days.
Services include:
- Individual, parental and family assessment and intervention
- Group interventions (Triple P, Incredible Years, Anxiety group for children, Children in the Middle, Rainbow, information sessions)
- Psychological Services
- Telepsychiatry / Psychiatry Services
- Crisis Intervention
- Brief Services
