About this organization

Our aim is to faithfully preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ and be a light in the City of Timmins. Learn more about what we believe by downloading our statement of faith here.

Come to First Baptist on Second Avenue, park on Third. We would love for you to visit us! Sunday morning service begins at 10:15 and our goal is to lead you in worship of our great God and Saviour Jesus Christ through music, preaching, prayer, donations and community connections. More information about our Sunday services can be found here.

Throughout the week we have many community groups that meet in homes throughout the community. Other ministries include:

  • One Eighty Youth Group
  • Young Adults
  • Food Bank (Fridays from 12:30 to 2:00 pm)
  • Moms & Tots (Potluck every Wednesday morning @ 10)

Although the church is an autonomous body it does benefit in many ways from its membership in the Fellowship of Evangelical Baptists and is a strong supporter of missionaries both in Canada and internationally.
