Wesway offers In Home respite to eligible family caregivers living within the city of Thunder Bay and immediate surrounding area. In Home service means that a trained Wesway Respite Worker will carry out the care routine normally provided by the family caregiver. This can happen in your home, or if you prefer, the worker can take your family member to activities outside of the home. In Home service is designed to be flexible and customized to your family needs. It can be regularly scheduled, or you can use your respite as as needed. Whether you have a few errands to run, would like to spend some time with friends, or even take a weekend trip somewhere, Wesway's In Home respite is able to support the diverse needs of caregivers.
