About this service
Recovering from a heart attack or other event related to cardiovascular disease can be difficult and frightening. Often, we don't know where to start. Our doctor may give us some tips about diet and exercise, but we can quickly become overloaded with information. That's why our Hospital developed our local Cardiovascular Rehabilitation Program. This unique program helps those recovering from cardiovascular disease get the guided exercise, education, and counselling they need. The program is designed to help people lead a more independent and healthy lifestyle. Participants will learn more about their risk factors and how to reduce them with strategies for living an active, healthy, smoke-free life.
