About this service
NorWest Community Health Centres (NWCHC) provides emotional and mental health care to help promote better mental health. These services are related to Situational issues including day-to-day challenges and addictions Relationships Anxiety Depression Trauma This care is provided through one-on-one counselling, peer support groups, and workshops on topics such as depression, stress management, and anger management. The goal of the program is to help clients develop a plan that will help them improve their overall mental health. NWCHC provides referrals to other health care and community services as needed. Services are provided to individuals rostered as a client to NWCHC. NWCHC also helps provide general information about mental health to promote better mental health and reduce stigma.
