About this service
Our While You Wait (WYW) Program is a central point of contact for families waiting for Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, and Speech Language Pathology assessment services for their children after being referred to the Centre. Our facilitator will contact families to gather information and conduct screenings and/or administer questionnaires to determine each child's particular service needs. Families and caregivers play a key role in working alongside of us to develop an optimum plan that best meets their children's needs. Tip sheets regarding various developmental areas are available for families to learn more.
