Little George's Child Care Centre

Little George's Child Care Centre is a non-profit organization serving the community of Thunder Bay for over 30 years. We are a part of the Northwood EarlyON hub located in Sherbrooke Public School. We offer licensed full and part-time child care for children aged 18 months to 5 years of age and programming for school-aged children, 6 to 12 years of age. Little George's Child Care Centre opened in September 1986 initially under the name George Jeffrey Day Care. We were located at 507 North Lillie Street for many years before moving to our current location. Changes and the idea of having child care centres located in schools drove us to relocate to Sherbrooke Public School in November 2008. At this time our name changed to George Jeffrey/Sherbrooke Community Day Care. Relocating into the school gave us the ability to expand our program to include school age children. Finally in 2019 with re-branding we also changed our name, and in September 2019 we became Little George's Child Care Centre.

We offer licensed full and part-time child care for children aged 18 months to 5 years of age and programming for school-aged children, 6 to 12 years of age.

Little George's Child Care Centre is open Monday 7:00am - 5:30pm Tuesday 7:00am - 5:30pm Wednesday 7:00am - 5:30pm Thursday 7:00am - 5:30pm Friday 7:00am - 5:30pm.
