About this service
IDHCs Diabetes Wellness Workers promote diabetes awareness from an Indigenous perspective and assist Indigenous communities in identifying appropriate resources and services, planning, prevention and awareness strategies and coordinating community/regional programs and events based on community needs. Diabetes Wellness Workers also provide information sessions, information booths, presentations, resources and workshops to communities as requested.
