About this organization

OFRA operates under the guiding principle that each resident be provided with the best environment possible within which they are able to maintain an optimum level of functioning and maximize the quality of their daily life. As we plan for the future, our goal is to ensure that OFRA continues to excel in providing a continuance of multi-level care designed to meet the needs of seniors within the District of Algoma. With the ever growing shortage of affordable housing options, particularly for pensioned and low-income seniors, and a rapidly growing aging population, we must take action now to ensure we will continue to meet their needs for years to come.
