About this service
St. Marys Outreach Committee undertakes a local Christmas Assistance Program, offering support to struggling families over the holidays. The Outreach team collects contributions from our congregation at St. Marys, and helps to distribute assistance to local families who are in financial difficulties. Every November we start to raise funds for this program. As the month unfolds we review our client needs and try to match our resources to where the needs are. As December unfolds, we distribute our proceeds and work to help ensure that even folks who are struggling, get to experience a little Christmas magic.
