About this service
Day supports and working opportunities for individuals at Daybreak remain responsive and flexible and strive to help each person realize their desire and potential to engage in satisfying work. The strength of Daybreaks work programs comes from the underlying vision that everyone has a unique capacity to positively impact those with whom they are in relationship.
Today, LArche Daybreak includes eight homes and several dynamic places of work, recreation and creativity: The Craft Studio, The Woodery Wood-working Shop, The Spirit Movers dance troupe, Day Program and The Club. LArche Daybreak is a vibrant example of how people of different intellectual ability, social origin, religion and culture can live, work and learn together.
Some community members also work in LArche Daybreaks administrative offices and on the team that leads retreats at Dayspring, our spiritual centre.
