About this organization
RHUC combines a liberal theology with an active commitment to social justice issues. Reflecting this, the membership is diverse both culturally and socio-economically, and in terms of traditional and non-traditional family structures. RHUC is an affirming ministry.
RHUC is recognized for the quality of its worship services and for other programming for adults and younger people, including Sunday morning programming for children and teenagers, two choirs (youth and chancel/adult), Djembe Drumming and adult study groups. Members of RHUC are also actively involved in addressing important needs in the local community (e.g. breakfast program for local elementary school children; programs and housing for at risk youth; Out-of-the-Cold programs) and internationally (e.g. refugee support and advocacy).
