About this service
The official flower of the military child is the Dandelion. The children's deployment support program offers support to children and their parents who may be experiencing challenges due to the military lifestyle. This support is offered in one-on-one sessions or in groups for both parents and children. Topics range from coping with separation due to deployment or training, adjusting to moves, parenting, and building resiliency skills in children. We are available to meet with you and your family before a deployment to ensure that you have a plan in place to stay connected as a family and to adjust to any changes that may occur.
