TRENTON BAPTIST CHURCH

Trenton Baptist Church (TBC) is a fellowship of believers that holds biblical scripture as its utmost guide and inspiration in matters of faith, conduct, and belief, conforming to the 66 books of the Bible in the Old and New Testaments. Rooted in these beliefs, TBC asserts that there is one eternal, living, and true God, consisting of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. They also affirm the existence of Satan as an evil personality, accepting the Genesis account of creation literally, and understanding the fall of man as Adam's sin leading to humanity's corruption and spiritual death. TBC affirms baptism and the Lord's Supper as ordinances and believes in the personal, bodily return of Christ. TBC's mission is to glorify God through worship, witnessing for Christ, serving in love, and learning to obey God's truth. TBC was first organized in November 1927 with 16 members and formally recognized in July 1928. It has seen numerous changes of venues throughout its history, finally settling at its current location on Dixon Drive, Trenton, in 2017 after purchasing the Wesleyan Methodist Church. The church had previously been renting various halls and had multiple failed attempts to erect their own building. TBC's leadership has come from various pastors who have guided the congregation with commitment and obedience to the church's mission and beliefs. Today, Trenton Baptist Church continues to uphold its mission and remains dedicated to worshiping and serving God.
