- Provide you assistance when speaking with Duty Counsel, the court room that your proceedings are being held in, and help with finding your lawyer
- Sit with you in court (if time permits)
- Offer placement & programs for Community Service Orders, Anger & Conflict Management and the Positive Lifestyle Program
Our hours at the Peterborough Ontario Court of Justice are from 9:00a.m. to 12:00 noon Monday thru Thursday.
Positive Lifestyle Program
- The Positive Lifestyle Programs main purpose is to deal with those who have shoplifted, have a theft charge or have committed a minor criminal offence. This 1:1 program is a ten week course and is held on a weekly basis for 1 hour.
- This is a program designed for anyone aged 18 and over who, because of difficulties in their lives, may have become involved with the criminal justice system.
Minimal cost for program.
