COVID-19 Update

Until further notice, the LCRC will be only providing its essential services :

  • Intake services (which include support, listening, crisis intervention, referral to other available services in Ottawa and practical help such as diapers, food vouchers, help with transportation a crisis worker is available by phone.
  • Modified food distribution (hampers distributed outside the Community House, 145 Beausoleil Drive) but you must make an appointment first.

Since 1970, the LCRC has been offering a range of social and community services to individuals and families residing in Lowertown. The LCRC is a non-profit organization with a Board of Directors whose members are elected by Lowertown residents.

All our services are free and bilingual.
