About this service
We offer flexible support services to women as they establish new lives, free from abuse, for themselves and their families.
Transitional Services are available to women residing in the shelter or community and include:
- Advocacy with community agencies
- Follow up counselling and support
- Assistance with safety planning
- Short term, crisis counselling for women
- Information, legal support and referrals
- Support groups for women
- Outreach support to women in rural communities
- The Crisis Care Outreach Program provides support to women in the community who have left or are leaving an abusive relationship.
Services include:
- Safety planning
- Short term counselling
- Advocacy with other agencies including legal services, housing and children's services
- Information and referrals
- Court appointment and advocacy
