About this service
Our Community & Family Services are currently operating on a reduced level due to COVID-19 restrictions. Call Heather Smith at 905-723-7422 ext. 221 to book your appointment.
No drop-in service is available. We're across the street from The Regent Theatre, enter off Celina Street at The Community and Family Services door.
Available to anyone living in Oshawa or Port Perry who experiences a food shortage. Appointments are available to make the service more accessible to clients who are working or in school. Clients are provided with a 3-4 day supply of food, which includes non-perishable food and fresh food when available. Hygiene and infant supplies are also available.
In addition to providing food, clients are referred to Community and Family Services programs and community resources as necessary, and are provided with spiritual counsel whenever possible.
Please bring:
- photo ID for adults
- ID for each family member
- proof of address, income & rent required.
- grocery bags
