About this service

The Community support program is an agile outreach service which provides support to individuals and families with loved ones who have experienced a brain injury. The Community Support Coordinators function as an accessibility guide, to provide service connection and support in the community, as directed by the people we serve. This program operates Monday-to Friday, and does not function as a crisis service.

This no-cost service is offered to Individuals/families who reside in the Region of Durham. We are able to connect in a variety of ways, in person, via email, phone calls or text messages. The program does not run a waiting list; therefore the availability of the CSC staff varies depending on individual need.
