About this service

The Regional Kidney Care Program of Simcoe Muskoka is located at OSMH and has a full range of services for patients with kidney disease. The area we serve extends south to Alliston, north to Huntsville, east to Haliburton, and west to Collingwood.

The staff in our Multi-care Kidney Clinic, Home Dialysis Unit and Hemodialysis Units work closely with the transplant hospitals in Toronto (Toronto General Hospital and St. Michaels Hospital), London and Ottawa to make sure all patients who wish are referred for a kidney transplant.

Our team of nephrologists, nurses, social workers, dietitians, pharmacists and dialysis technologists work with patients, families, the community, the Kidney Foundation, teaching hospitals in Toronto and other major centres to ensure excellence in dialysis care.
