About this service
The primary focus of the strategy was the establishment of a transition house to support Aboriginal women and their children in rebuilding safe, healthy and economically independent lives. A secondary component is to network and collaborate between Aboriginal and mainstream services in order to better meet the needs of our women. In 2013, we opened Biminaawzogin Transition Homes and have been operating transitional supportive housing for Aboriginal women and children.
