About this organization

Childcare is often the first experience for children outside of the home in an organized setting. We want to make this a positive one! We know the value of early childhood education in a nurturing environment that values each child's individuality. We work closely with the Region of Halton, Ministry of Education & the Halton Resource Connection to ensure our center is providing the best possible care as reflected in the most up to date research. Learning Ladder Childcare offers an Emergent Curriculum. This is a method of programming where the RECE observes the children's play and plans the programming, materials around the children's interests. This requires a lot of flexibility on the part of the staff as they follow the child's lead and encourage learning by asking open ended questions.
