Distress Centre Oakville is a non-profit charitable organization that provides telephone and online support to people 365 days of the year. We are a unique service in that we train volunteers for front-line work providing emotional support and befriending to people in distress or crisis.
No matter who you are and no matter what is affecting your life - we are here to listen in a supportive and non-judgmental capacity. People call us for many different reasons, including: feelings of loneliness, relationship issues, bullying, anger management, thoughts of suicide, school or work issues, addictions, and many more. No issue is too big or too small. Please reach out to us, we are here for you.
