About this organization

Crisis Centre North Bay's Four Elms Emergency Shelter accepts men, women, and children into the homeless shelter on Cassells Street. Once at the door, clients' immediate needs are addressed. A meal is offered, as is a shower and a clean bed. Once clients are settled in, our resource staff assists in resolving the crisis that brought them to the shelter. Goals are set, and both staff and client work together to find funding, housing and counseling if needed. Crisis Centre assists by linking clients to supports to resolve the immediate crisis -- but also to assist in the long term.
