About this service
The Transitional Housing program supports women to develop skills to live independently. Women may stay up to 364 days. The Transitional Housing component of Belindas Place supports women to develop skills to live independently. There are nine single-occupancy units, each with a bathroom and kitchenette, but no stove. Staff provide collaborative, client-driven assessment; strengths-based, trauma-informed case management; referrals and warm transfers; life skills programming (e.g. workshops on health, cooking, budgeting, problem solving, conflict resolution, community living skills); assistance connecting with wraparound services; and assistance finding appropriate, affordable, and stable housing.
