About this service
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, Indus Community Services will be implementing a Reduction of Services effective immediately. Reduction of services will include limiting the face to face/in-person access to services. We remain committed to supporting you and keeping you informed. The aim of our Friendly Visiting program is to maintain social and emotional interaction for socially isolated, physically and cognitively impaired seniors (55+) in the comfort of their home, hospital or assisted living setting.
Screened and trained volunteers engage clients in meaningful activities providing support and companionship along with caregiver respite. Clients may also receive telephone reassurance and security checks to ensure safety, health and wellness.

Socially isolated, physically and cognitively impaired seniors (55+)
