About this service

The Adolescent Team at Associated Youth Services of Peel (AYSP) is a voluntary counselling program for youth. Sessions with youth, and at times their caregivers, occur in the family home or community, once a week for a total of 6-8 months. The Adolescent Team Program is part of a working partnership with the Peel Childrens Aid Society and the Peel Childrens Centres Wraparound Program. Together, we work with youth and their caregivers to develop customized service plans to prevent out-of-home placement. The program has several components which aim to decrease conflict and build positive relationships.
