About this organization

Erin Mills Youth Centre (EMYC) mission is to create an exceptional & sustainable community based place where the physical, social and intellectual needs of children, youth and their families can be met. EMYC provides programs/services to achieve the following goals: education of youth on a variety of issues; promotion of inclusion, tolerance and empowerment and healthy lifestyles; development of strategies to reduce the effects of poverty. To address these goals the programs/services that are provided include: daily Breakfast Club during the academic year; after school programs that involve sports/exercise, dance, leadership development, cooking classes, girls clubs; workshops: Summer Camp and family celebrations during the year.
