About this organization

FERN founder, Dr. Laura Cesaroni, has spent 20 years working with parents, grandparents and teachers, who required specialized resources for teaching, managing and parenting children who were experiencing challenges. Through her work, Laura noticed a serious gap in available resources. Some families were on wait lists for early intervention services, others had just received a diagnosis while many had been in the system for years but, all were in search of a helpful and empathetic ear. Laura was inspired to create a safe and supportive space for these families and the plan for FERN was conceived.
