About this service
This is an in-home intervention provided by Child & Youth Workers to assist parents in how to respond to their acting out child in more effective ways in the home. The Child and Youth Worker will utilize a strengths based approach in understanding the family dynamics and how best to support parents during difficult times in order to achieve the familys goals. Strategies may include behaviour management, education, advocating for further community supports, and supporting parents during difficult transitions.
