About this service

The AHBHC Program was created as a way to support families in celebrating and honouring new and young life in the Aboriginal community. The AHBHC Program is a prevention and early intervention strategy of services for families with children prenatal to 6 years of age by Identifying the needs and strength of families. The AHBHC Program workers are advocates to Urban Aboriginal families and communities. They provide various services for example to name a few. Home visiting, transportation to doctors, dental or food bank appointments, connecting parents to valuable supports and resources in the community, providing referrals for various support services.
