About this organization

Distress and Crisis Ontario (DCO) is an administrative association dedicated to supporting Distress Centres (DCs) across the province. DCs provide their listening and referral services primarily through highly trained and committed volunteers. The staffs of these DCs are knowledgeable individuals who insure the highest levels of support to the individuals in their communities and innovation in service provision. DCO provides training, networking, and advocacy for Member DCs to be able to focus on providing care to individuals in distress and crisis.
