TRILLIUM CHILD CARE CENTRE

In 2003, Kingston Day Cares Board of Directors was asked to work in partnership with Dacon Incorporated and Trillium Retirement and Care to consider designing and building a child care centre within their newly expanded retirement centre.

In March 2004, Kingston Day Care received a license from the Ministry of Community and Social Services to operate our second location in the west end of Kingston, the Trillium Child Care Centre. The centres hours of operation provide the flexibility to provide care for children birth to preschool, between the hours of 6:30 a.m and 6:15 p.m. These identified hours of operation provide for workplace child care and address community need. The value of the opportunity for seniors and children to interact in this setting is immeasurable.
