About this service

EarlyON Child and Family Centre

Provides information and support on child development and parenting to families with children up to the age of 6 years in Kenora and Sioux Lookout. Play-based learning opportunities are provided for children and their families to participate in together. Parents/caregivers also connect with other families through casual conversations and activities and learn about other services available in the community.

FIREFLY Prenatal and Nutrition Program

Promotes the health of pregnant women and new mothers and their babies up to the age of 6 months in Kenora and Red Lake. Services include prenatal classes, education and support on breastfeeding, infant care and child development, nutritional counselling and prenatal vitamin/food coupons. Referrals are also made to other agencies and services that can provide additional support
