Participants
Child and Family Intervention is a service for families with children and youth who are experiencing social, emotional, or behavioural difficulties.
Program Focus
A range of counseling interventions may be provided through individual, family, group, and parent focused education sessions. Services are flexible to meet the unique needs of families. Sessions may be provided in our office, at school, at home, or in the community.
Counselors may work with others involved in the child/youths life, such as teachers, doctors, or other support persons. If deemed necessary, counselors may make referrals for assessment and/or consultation by a psychologist or psychiatrists.
