About this service
Our needle and syringe program provides free information and materials necessary to practice safer drug use and safer sex. We can also provide you with referrals to other sources within the community regarding social services, drug and alcohol treatment centers, social workers, housing and welfare, etc. In addition, we can teach injection drug users about the health risks associated with injection drug use and how to reduce the risk of HIV and other blood borne infections.
People do not need to be clients of the AIDS Network to access this service. Clean works is available and used work is accepted for safe disposal.
