About this service
The Senior Isolation Program is designed specifically to provide support for our isolated seniors 65+ in the lower city and east end through intensive case management and workshops.
Through this program, isolated seniors will be identified and connected with a Senior Isolation Support Worker where they will work together to enhance basic life skills to improve their quality of life.
The Senior Isolation Support Worker will work alongside agency/community partners currently working with clients to ensure that all needs are assessed and met.
Social and Educational workshops will be offered within a social setting, providing isolated seniors with a safe environment to interact with other seniors in the community.
Isolation amongst seniors is very common, it also looks different for each client.
