About this service
The Upper Paradise Residential Program is available to children experiencing emotional, social and behaviour difficulties, which are of such an intensity that intervention at a less intrusive level may not be of sufficient benefit to the child and their family.
The service model offers two Phases of three-month treatment for a total of six months. There is also a respite period for three months following discharge from the six-month long program.
Children in residence may attend their own school or may be referred to the Day Treatment classrooms at the Upper Paradise site.
The Upper Paradise Residential Program has 8 beds and accommodates 4 children in each of the first 2 phases. There is also 1 bed designated to provide respite care for children involved in other programs.
