About this service
Located on a secure floor of the retirement residence, Chartwell Deerview Crossings Memory Living Neighbourhood is a supportive and independent environment for seniors living with dementia. With a unique person-centred approach to memory care, our trained and caring staff establish strong social connections with residents in order to foster trust and familiarity, and partner with their families to learn each persons life historyall in an effort to better understand their story and form meaningful relationships. To support the families of residents living with cognitive impairment, a dedicated Dementia Counsellor is also available to provide orientation, facilitate family conferences and deliver counseling services, and family members are encouraged to drop by our onsite Caregiver Caf any time.
