About this service

The residence is a welcoming, nurturing, home-like setting with the capacity for 12 mothers and babies. Young women between the ages of 13- 21 can arrive at any time during their pregnancy and stay with their babies for several months. The length of stay is dependent on individual needs.

Prenatal Program

The focus is for pregnant young women to experience a healthy pregnancy and birth as well as learning self care and life skills necessary to transition to their new roles as mothers. During their stay, staff works closely with the young parents to develop their individual goals/ life plans. Most residents attend the on site school during their prenatal stay.

Post-natal Program

The focus is for new parents and their infants to get to know each other and for the new parents to learn to be the best parents they can be.
