About Our Child Care

At Cornerstone Preschool Childcare Center, our classroom is a carefully prepared environment that reflects a childs inner desire to learn. Everything within the environment needs to be beautiful and appealing to a child. All Materials are designed for the youngest of children to explore, using their senses to identify and discover different fundamental cornerstones of higher learning including Measurement, Size and Colour Discrimination, Mathematics, Language, and Daily Life Skills. The environment and the Teacher are there to aid the children to become self- disciplined, independent, peaceful, problem-solving, and caring members of a community.

Cornerstone Preschool Childcare is committed to creating rich learning environments for children to reach their full potential in alignment with four foundational conditions that are outlined in the Ministry of Educations, How Does Learning Happen? Ontarios Pedagogy for the Early Years.
